Makes you wonder, right? That curse of 27. Amy Winehouse is another addition to the list.
Though it is kind of hard to imagine that all these poor sufferers had any joy dealing with their personal demons even as the world around them swooned at their talent and envied their success.
Life is unfair indeed.
Makes a great story nevertheless!

Thank You. I always felt bad for them but Cobain once said that he wanted to join the club. So maybe, he might have shot himself for that reason.

When I was obsessed with the Sixties, I used to often plan the grand end at 27.
But eventually I realised I won't make it that big ever, let alone be before turning 27 and well not all of them were prone to suffering
Read Morrison's biography. Also, Joplin's!
:)
But I liked reading it... fresh theme though the build up is quintessential RD!
:D

also. just one suggestion.
Change the title.
it gives away everything because his profession isn't a secret. and, to connect the dots between 27 and a rock artist is very simple!

well written Rafaa!!
the age of 27- "live fast-die young"-- the 27 club!

Actually I wanted my readers to know beforehand that he will die soon. Hence the title. The twist here is actually his deal with the devil and not his death.

That was really intense and you really managed to get the reader into the shoes of the character and feel how a rock star feels.
