INCEPTION - Dream or Reality !!!

What's the most resilient parasite? An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

INCEPTION is Christopher Nolan's best movie till date and has surpassed Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. A must watch movie with a mindblowing cliffhanger ending. 10/10

Now the climax of the movie made me think if its a reality or a dream. On my first viewing, I was sure that it is a dream. But on my second viewing, I got confused as I had read many discussion boards and stuff and I saw things which I had not bothered about earlier. I'll now give a detailed explanation evaluating both theories whether the movie is a dream or reality.

A. THE MOVIE IS REALITY

Many people, including me, believed that Cobb's kids, Phillipa and James at the end of the movie are the same, haven't aged and are wearing the same clothes. But on my second viewing, I noticed that the kids are different and are older compared to the younger ones we've seen throughout the film. Their clothes are slightly different. The girl has a white shirt underneath her red dress and his son is wearing shoes instead of sandals at the end. Even the credits at the end show two different sets of kids.

Cobb remembers exactly how he got to where he is, which he wouldn't know if he was dreaming.

In EVERY scene which is supposed to take place in reality, Cobb isn't wearing a wedding ring. Every dream sequence, he is (as he tells Ariadne, "In here we're still together."). At the end when he goes home and spins the top, he isn't wearing the ring. I didn't notice this at all on my first viewing.

Don't

All my life I've tend to let people walk over me too much. But I've learnt the hard way that being too nice never helps. Remember that you are born alone and you will die alone. So let me share some of the Don'ts I've learnt through many experiences.

Don't lose your self respect and dignity.

Don't let anyone treat you badly or put you down ever.

Don't let anyone overpower you or treat you in any wrong way.

Don't believe in rumors or gossips and assume that you are just hearing one side of the story.

The Riddler In Batman 3

The 1st two installments of Christopher Nolan's Batman series are deeply focused on the development of Batman and how he affects society. In the third installment, Batman is on the run and a part of a cover up that is protecting Harvey Dent's misdeeds as Two Face. Joker is in prison and the only person, other than Fox and Alfred, that knows Batman's true identity is Reese. Reese failed to cash in on Bruce Wayne on two attempts.I have a feeling that he will help The Riddler know about Batman's true identity.

A Conversation With My Soul

One night,I was just lying on my bed & thinking about random stuffs when suddenly I heard a voice,"Hello Rafaa, Im your soul !!!"

Me(feeling vulnerable): Where are you? I can't see you.

Soul: You can't see me, u only feel me. You & me are like two different streams from the same source and finally surrendering into the same mighty ocean.

Me: What source are you talking about?

Soul: The same source from where I as energy and you as matter. originated. I came from cosmos and you are my matter. You need me as much as I need you.

Me: I dont need you. Why am I even listening to you?

Soul: Start listening to me, we will sail in the same boat with utmost pleasure. If you don't, then you will be at pain always. Confronting me will lead you nowhere. You will start doing all the blunders and then start blaming others.

Me: What you say is not completely illogical but I can't trust you as I can't see you.

Soul: You can't see air but still can't live without it. Then why this discrimination against me. I am energy & you have to feel me.
